As Mwenge Catholic
University (MWECAU) succeeds MWUCE, we applaud the milestones of this higher
learning institution which has so far touched the lives of many people both
within and outside the country as guided by it Motto: Lux Mundi (Latin for
Light of the world).
MWUCE, a secular and private institution of higher learning under the ownership
and management of the Tanzania Episcopal Conference (TEC) is situated in Moshi. MWUCE was established in 2005 as a constituent College of St. Augustine University of Tanzania,
SAUT. MWUCE is a

service

citizens who are committed to work for the benefit of the society of Tanzania

MWECAU will continue with in her efforts to provide quality and integral
